Soma Fabrications Mini Velo

My new bike. I won it at the SFBC Winterfest. I was intrigued by the mini format after seeing the Bruno bike. I saw a couple at Bike Expo in a FGFS spec. So when I saw the Soma at Winter fest I got excited and decided to bid.





I now own a Mini Velo and I love it! feels a little familiar because of my bmx bikes as far as handling. I have commuted with it and will continue to do so. I am currently looking for fenders that will fit it (20") and not cost a lot. Any suggestions?

SOLD: 1992 Bridgestone XO-3

Up for your consideration is a 48cm Bridgestone XO-3. Very low mileage - probably less than 300. It has a few scratches and knicks on the rear triangle but otherwise the paint is vibrant and colorful.

Changes made:
- GB randonneur bars
- Cinelli stem
- Suntour bar end shifters
- Tektro brake levers
- KHS Uno fenders

At around 6:15 on my commute back from work in San Jose. I stop by safeway to grab some food to cook at home. I decide to take a quick stop at target so I lock my bike up to itself with a 12 pack of ginger ale and 5 pounds of ribs in the front basket. I come back. And my bike is gone. ribs and ginger ale on the floor. Soo sad. If anyone sees this bike on bart tonight or on craigslist please contact me . Getting in contact with the police right now.

Most noticable feature would be the double wrap cotton handlebar wrap with black and white.

Rickshaw's Tweed Ride 2011

So Lan and I have missed the all of the San Francisco Tweed Runs since they started having them. Luckily I saw the facebook ad on Friday for the Rickshaw one. So we dappered up and headed to Public Bikes to meet up with the rest of the Tweeders.
