Butterlap

We went on the Butterlap yesterday. It was our first time. A lot of fun and I'd like to go again.




I like these wheels. This guy pulled up to us asking about the ride. I asked if I could take a pic of his bike.


Butterlap happens every Wednesday 7PM at the ferry building.

Got Fiona's derailleurs sorted out yesterday. (The rear actually has 7 clicks on the indexing now! Only 6 were working prior.) So I took her for a spin around SOMA.

My bike was taken from my garage. I came home and the bike hooks were empty. Please keep an eye out for this bike. It's flat black with red cables. My cousin's GT BMX cruiser was stolen as well.

My 1987 Haro Master. I got this for Christmas in 1987. It was my dream bike at the time. I rode it everyday my freshman and sophomore year. Til this day, I believe I am most comfortable on this bike.

I got to the corner of 18th and Eureka and started to climb, felt pretty good when I got to the second plateau. So I went for the last section. I won. Let's see if I can do it again.

On the commute this morning I was almost hit. Driver cut right in front of me as I was pulling up to the stop on 24th and Vicksburg. Granted I may have been her blind spot. I think it was little bit of me trusting the driver too much and the driver not being fully aware of her surroundings.

National Go Skateboarding Day

4 wheels this time around. We celebrated Go Skateboarding Day on June 21st. I landed a kickflip but didn't get it on film. Honest!

First 2 commutes

I got my XO-1 2 Mondays ago. I rode it into work for the first time last Thursday (that also marked my first time commuting to work by bike since moving to San Francisco this past April).


Commute day 1

I was still learning the route. I discovered that Grand View is no joke. I lost my day old bike computer this day.


Commute day 2

This one was a little better. I learned to take Eureka in sections.

The Beginning

This is my new bike, biking, anything wheeled blog. It'll probably mostly be commute pics or anything cool I see around San Francisco. I'll also be putting in some past commute logs. I'm just getting this thing started.
